What is chin dimpling?

Chin dimpling, also known as a cleft chin, appears when the chin muscles are further apart than usual, creating a small, Y-shaped indentation in the middle of the chin.

The dimple can be temporarily corrected by smoothing the skin and removing the gap, either by the application of dermal fillers, botulinum toxin injections, or both.
