Hygiene & Prevention
Prevention is always better than treatment
Preventative dentistry helps maintain good oral health, from routine checkups and hygiene appointments to sports mouthguards. We can prevent decay, gum disease and even fractured teeth as long as help is sought early and the advice is followed.
Dental Hygiene
A dental hygienist assesses the health of your gums and gently removes any plaque and tartar caused by food you leave behind which combines with bacteria naturally found in your mouth. Regular dental hygiene treatments need to be an essential part of everyone’s oral health regime.
Sports Mouthguards
At K Dental Studios we offer bespoke mouthguards to help protect your teeth during contact sports. When you visit the practice we will take a mould of your teeth; this allows us to create a plastic shield which is close-fitting to your teeth and therefore offers maximum protection.
