Qualified Dental Nurse
GDC Number: 250461
Growing up with her mother who was a nurse and watching how she cared for people, Maria studied at the High School of Medicine for 4 years, and gained her diploma in Nursing in 2002. Shortly after gaining her nursing qualification she went on to pursue her interest in working with children with special needs, and studied Education & Rehabilitation for Children with Special Needs at Belgrade University.
During this time Maria did practical training and gained work experience through teaching children with special needs.
Maria was very interested in Dental Nursing and soon enrolled for the training which she completed in March 2014.
Her previous training and her work experience with children has proved to be invaluable in the daily contribution she makes to the wellbeing of our patients and creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our practice.
Putting the needs of our patients at the forefront of her daily duties, her caring and sympathetic chair side manner ensures patients feel comfortable and at ease when visiting our practice.
Maria has the important role as our Cross Infection and Decontamination Lead (ensuring the practice maintains the highest possible standards within these key areas).
She has also played a vital role in our school visits in order to raise Oral Health Awareness to children, teachers and parents.
In her spare time Maria has a variety of interests. She enjoys the theatre (especially West End musicals) as well as various outdoor activites, such as skydiving- she has done two already. She also enjoys swimming and going out with my friends, as London has so much to offer.
