What a way to end Children’s Week

So that’s it, our February Children’s Week is over for another year. It’s been great as always and most importantly there are more children who know the importance of looking after their teeth. Our final day was a busy one but one young lady really made an impression on us:20170222_205331

At only two years old, this was her first trip to the dentist ever and we’re pleased to say she did amazingly well, not even a hint of any tears or tantrums. She particularly enjoyed making bunny balloons out of blue gloves, as did Irene!

Her mother was really happy too and even stated how impressed she was that we were able to check her teeth without a struggle. We were amazed as her mother told us that they had previously been to a dentist who had simply asked that they return two years later when they could check her teeth! At K Dental Studios we believe in introducing a child to a dentist as early as possible. This is so they don’t develop phobias of dental practices and dentists in general. It also helps children and parents incorporate good brushing and diet habits into their daily routine. We’re more than happy to answer any questions on either of these matters at your appointments.

If you missed Children’s Week this half term, don’t worry because we have another planned for October 2017 – keep your eye out for dates! If you would like a reminder to ensure you don’t miss out please contact info@kdentalstudios.co.uk. However if your child is due a check-up please don’t wait until October, children’s check-ups cost just £20.

Thank you to all those who took advantage of our Children’s Week offer this half term, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing you all and meeting lots of new faces.
